Our Team

Brand Atlantic is led by a talented team of professionals with over 50 years of combined experience spanning acquisitions, development, design, construction, marketing and leasing, asset and property management, finance, and capital markets.

The team’s diverse and extensive skillsets include expertise across multiple property types including residential, office, hotels and resorts, restaurants, retail, and land development. BA’s leadership has successfully navigated all stages of the real estate investment cycle, including the workout and successful exit of distressed hotel and residential properties during the last downturn. Foundational to our growth and success, BA seeks to attract and retain exceptional real estate talent by fostering an entrepreneurial and inclusive culture that both inspires and rewards our team members.

Andrew Dance

Managing Partner

Andrew is responsible for vision, execution, and growth strategies for the company, as well as acquisition, underwriting, capitalizing, marketing/PR, sales and leasing for BA’s developments.

Prior to founding BA in 2021, Andrew was Executive Vice President of Related Companies based in New York. During his 16 years at Related, Andrew directly led the acquisition, development, financing, and disposition of over $2 billion in real estate assets in major markets across the US.

As a principal in Related’s New York Development Group, Andrew was responsible for leading major growth initiatives, including Related’s entry into the Washington D.C. market and the North America rollout of Equinox Hotels across 15 cities. Prior, Andrew led the successful workout of Related’s distressed projects in Aspen, LA, and Tuxedo Park.

Andrew earned his Master of Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, and his Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College.

Craig Monzio

Executive Vice President

Craig leads overall deal execution for BA’s developments, responsible for due diligence, purchase contracts, zoning approvals, project budget and schedule, construction buyout, financing, and contract and lease negotiations. For BA, Craig also oversees financial reporting and company operations.

In this capacity, Craig is BA’s primary interface with investors, lenders, counsel, public agencies, contractors, property managers, and tenants.

Prior to joining BA in 2021, Craig was Vice President of Related Companies based in New York. During his 8 years at Related, Craig led hotel and mixed-use developments in Snowmass, Seattle, and Houston, responsible for underwriting, due diligence, permitting, financing, project management, and construction oversight.

Craig earned his Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder and the Leeds School of Business.

Bennett Gale

Senior Vice President

Bennett leads BA’s developments through planning, design, coordination, permitting and construction, responsible for leading consultant and contractor teams to meet critical milestone dates throughout the development cycle by actively managing quality control, staffing levels, budget exposures, and issue resolution.

In this capacity, Bennett is BA’s primary interface with architects, designers, engineers, other consultants, and contractors in the field.

Prior to joining BA, Bennett was Project Manager for Tishman Speyer, where he led a $100m property repositioning in New York City. Previously, Bennett held similar roles at Related Companies and Jamestown Properties, focused on luxury residential and hotel developments.

Bennett started his career as a licensed architect at Bjarke Ingels Group then NBBJ. He earned his Master of Architecture from Harvard University and his Bachelor of Science from Washington University in St. Louis.
